High & TIght is a local 'zine, highlighting the rich barbershop culture in Toronto. Each issue focuses on a specific iconic shop, it's owner and patrons. We decided to draw on the rich visual history of barbershops when looking for inspiration and strove to reproduce their atmosphere and sense-of-place in our design. Designed to be read by patrons as they wait for their haircut appointment, the rough, cardboard cover and craft-paper pages add a wonderful aged patina and are also extremely cheap to reproduce.
