GAINLINE AFRICA - BRANDING  -

Gainline Africa is a Canadian sports for development organization that uses the power of rugby as a vehicle for development in Africa's post-conflict communities. Gainline Africa was founded by a small group of rugby players who experienced positive benefits playing the game they love. From these beginnings, Gainline Africa believes rugby is a non-intrusive, efficient and cost-effective tool to assess and address many social and developmental issues that arise in post-conflict communities.

As one of the founding members of Gainline Africa, I was charged with developing the branding of the organization. The "Gainline" is a rugby term for the invisible line that must be crossed for a team to progress forward to their goal. I used this as a strong visual metaphor to base the brand around
